At Computex Taipei 2023, Innodisk has launched its new SSD, the Innodisk 5TG-P AIC SSD, with a new stylized design. Instead of adopting the common M.2 modeling design, the appearance of the SSD is directly connected to the motherboard vertically in the posture of a graphics card; the conventional M.2 SSD form factor has a small area, and the TDP of SSDs supporting PCIe Gen 5 is about 15W, so solving the heat dissipation of SSDs has become a concern nowadays.
The Innodisk 5TG-P AIC SSD has a large surface area and can be cooled by a larger heat sink, which can solve the problem of heat generation when the SSD is working.
Hardware

The Innodisk 5TG-P AIC SSD comes with an active heatsink and PCIe 5.0 x 4 interface with a capacity of up to 32 TB; it comes with internal 3D TLC NAND flash and DDR4 DRAM cache.
Speed

The Innodisk 5TG-P AIC is capable of 13 GB/s in both read and write; Innodisk is aiming to use this type of SSD in scenarios such as workstations and there are also other models available, such as the U.2 and E.1S, which can also be seen on the CDM with a speed of 13.62 GB/s in read and 11.55 GB/s in write.
